River Guardians day
– Apex Park Wangaratta, Come along to Apex Park for a free, fun event showcasing local waterway conservation efforts for Platypus and other native wildlife.
Join in the Carp muster fishing competition with the chance to win great prizes presented by local fishing guru Robbie Alexander.
Browse the stalls, learn from local experts, enjoy fun hands on activities for the whole family and a free BBQ.

Remember to wear suitable footwear, dress for the weather conditions and bring your own water bottle.
This event is delivered in partnership by Rural City of Wangaratta, North East Catchment Management Authority and Ovens Landcare Network as part of the March into Sustainability activity series.
